Gemma arterton

Gemma Christina Arterton is an English actress, known for her role in films that include 'Quantum Of Solace', "The Disappearance of Alice Creed' and 'Hansel and Grete: Witch Hunters'. She was born in Gravesend, Kent, in Greater London. Following her studies in the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and a few years of professional work, she made her debut with a role as a support in the comedy 'St. Trinian's'. After that, she appeared in "Quantum of Solace" The James Bond spy thriller. The film had a great success commercially, and received moderate reviewers. She was then the main female in the fantasy action movie "Prince of Persia - The Sands of Time". She played a role as a supporter in the French movie "Orphan.' Arterton has been nominated for numerous Awards throughout her professional life. She was awarded"the "Empire Award for the Most Outstanding Newcomer" in the film "Quantum of Solitude" in addition to her "Evening Standard Theatre Award" for her performance in the musical"Made in Dagenham".
